little time for crafts...

homework, homework and more homework leaves little time for crafts...

BUT I still have found a little bit of time to work on a few things

Here is just a few of the things that I have done recently. I still have plans to make a frame for my bathroom mirrors, paint the cabinets, repaint the bathroom, repaint the office... and the list keeps going.

I spray painted the console blue and then sanded and sanded and did some more sanding until I had just the right aged look.

The other weekend at 50% off day at Goodwill I went and stocked up on frames. I spray painted them brown and then sanded them down a bit and added some fabric behind some of them and then just hung some keys up in the empty frames. I don't think that one can ever have too many sanded pieces. I have a bit of an obsession with sanding things. :)
And the final product of my projects in our entryway...

Recent Craft Projects..

I made this from a picture from and covered the picture with batting and fabric. I try to put coupons on it from the mail and look at it to see if there are any to use as I walk out the door. I love using coupons!

Some girls at church made these reversible blocks for the spring and summer

I got an old door and shutter from the Habitat for Humanity store, painted them, and used a crackle finish product to make them look aged.

I cut the letters out of styrofoam, hot glued on some moss, and put on top of our kitchen cupboards.
